Deck 3

Deck 3 is the main deck of the ship. Starting in front of the first bulkhead is the bridge. Following that on the deck above the shuttle bay are the captain's quarters, captain's ready room, conference room, janitor's closet, stellar cartography/astrononmy, and mission control. Mission control is the main control room for away missions when the shuttle has launched, and also controls the space probes when they are flying.
The next section of deck 3 contains the following: The mess, galley, hydroponics, and two restrooms. The hydroponics bay performs the primary Carbon Dioxide/Oxygen recycling system, some water purification, and fresh fruits and vegetables for the crew.
Beyond the galley and mess is the main airlock area. There are two airlocks on deck 3. The port airlock is extendable to dock with other ships or space stations. The starboard airlock is wider to accomodate a tool cart stored in the airlock. The starboard airlock is the primary crew ingress/egress for ship maintenance, thus the door is much wider. Both airlocks feature double hinged doors that seal into the door frame. Also in this area are the second EVA room, the airlock control station, and Moonbase compatible storage containers.
From here the corridor through the spine heads to the antimatter reactor room. The reactor room features fiber optics in the reactor and LEDs in the engine thrusters. Above the reactor room is a tool and equipment storage area.
