Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

Where's a Giant Dog when you need it?

You want a plot? Well, here it is. The Evil Wizard Tyranus wants the gold that the dragons have stashed in their mountain nest. The Good Wizard Mephisto doesn't like that idea and wants to stop Tyranus. Tyranus conjures up 50 skeletons to help him do battle, while Mephisto allies himself with the 13 dragons that inhabit the mountain, and the battle is on!

First blood, er, bone, is drawn by the dragons, with the destruction of a few of the advancing skeleton troops. The front lines get their revenge, however, by felling their first dragon with their arrows. The dragon comes crashing down on another skeleton though, knocking another bone-bag out of the battle.

The first round of attacks goes to the skeletons favor, with their superior numbers of arrows felling 3 dragons in the first melee. The dragons respond by taking to the air and getting out of range of the arrows.

Mephisto hops a dragon and joins the battle. Mephisto and Tyranus are both champions, wielding Magic Wands that do 2d10+2 damage. Tyranus approaches the River valley from the left and soon enters the battle as well, as the skeletons continue their advance on the Mountain Nest.

Soon after, the wizards engaged in battle with each other. Tyranus fired a blast from his wand into the center of a cluster of dragons. Mephisto then attempted to block the spell from hitting. It failed to prevent the hit, but did succeed in containing the blast to a single dragon. The skeleton armada then fired at the dragon that Mephisto was riding on. Mephisto attempted to buck the dragon to avoid the blast, but failed the stupendous feat and came crashing to the ground. He landed on a skeleton, killing them both.

The remainder of Mephistos dragons, whipped into a fury at the death of their commander, attacked Tyranus en masse, destroying him quite completely in the process.
