Let Loose The Bricks of War!

With a jovial roar, Sam and Max lead the EllerDrachen troops across the battlefield. After defeating the skeleton and escaping with the All-Powerful Crystal of Really Powerful Power in the last battle, they were pleased as punch to be promoted to heroes. Toting their brand new death guns, they were feeling happy and ready to rain carnage down upon the Axis. Queen Dominique was feeling especially groovy today. Her double-lightsaber was aching to do a little slicing and chopping.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Colonel Sanders was feeling rather grumpy. He was still quite pissed that his brother had been killed in the previous battle, and was ready to enact some Kraan Lord justice upon the interlopers. A new pizza girl and Chihuahua were hired from the local talent agency, ready to dispense some delicious fast food justice.

Advancing across the valley...
...on both sides
The spider slips into position
And the Rail Gun drops its supports, ready to fire
The Blitz advances on the west flank

The Pilot of the Blitz was a little concerned being out on the front lines like he was. His predecessor, driving the Blitz in the previous battle, was killed before he was even able to get a shot off, and the thought of dying without getting a kill was an extremely unpleasant one.

Meanwhile the Axis Jetpack scout saw a nice juice target to kill. It's a funny looking guy with a weird hat and no weapon. What is he? Who cares, let's kill him! The first kill of the battle was thus an Ellerdrachen Kamikaze scout. The jetpack then gets himself another victim. The Blitz pilot took advantage of the moment and fired a volley of missiles, killing the Jetpack scout quite sufficiently. First blood had been drawn on both sides, and the combatants couldn't be happier!

The Axis troops continue their advance, as the EllerDrachen Federation settles in to defend the Rail Gun as it attempts to shell from a distance. The first shot of the Mass Driver, firing an 8 brik boulder, misses by an embarrasing 12 inches, but that's the nature of the weapon.

The Spider slinks behind the cliffs
The battlefield a first attack
Come Get Some
A Big Red Killing Machine
First Blood
And second blood too

Soon things start getting very busy, as more units come into contact with each other. With the Scorpion, White Death, and chicken walkers within range, the EllerDrachen vehicles start getting toasted. The Blitz loses its powerplant in a freak shot, the blew the engine clean out of the vehicle. The cab of the Squall also gets blown apart. MKV laser's will do that to you. In a return volley, the first of the three chicken walkers gets blasted apart though, so it's not completely one-sided.

Ooops, I think we might need that
Toasted!
Another poor scout bites the dust
Got a little too close
It's getting messy out there
