Part 1: Into Town (and Out of Control) The town of Drakeville was busy at work when the EllerDrachen Federation rolled into town. The 10th annual Fast Food Appreciation Days were rapidly approaching, and much deep fat frying and burger wrangling still had to be done. Citizens driving through town were startled by the approach of an army from the east. Working hard to get across the tracks in time before the train came by (it went through town every three turns), the Federation pulled onto main street, between the Taco Bell and the TGI Fridays. Perusing the city, the Federation's two ninja began investigating buildings, hunting for the plaque (and a snack, as it had been a long flight. Luckily, half the buildings in town were restaurants.)
Across town, the Axis entered the fields that lay in the foothills of Mount Melone. The 50 semi-autonomous battle droids began fanning out across the field, searching for the plaque. They weren't so concerned about food, as being mostly mechanical in nature, needed only the occasional squirt of oil and a can of Old Fortran to pass the day. As the droids approached the south end of town, the van driven by the town driving professional passed into view. Our dear driver panicked at the sight of the approaching horde of battle droids and took off in the opposite direction across the field. The Axis' giant mech approached the town and stepped over the Goth Café and into town.
On the front steps of the town, Larissa the town escort was chatting it up with Biker Spike. "Hey baby, how's it goin'?", she asked him. "BLAAAAARRGHGHHHHH!!!" he shouted as he was stepped on by the Axis' mech. At the same time, The Axis' droids were engaged by Eric's troops in the foothills of Mount Melone.
The rest of the Federation forces entered the main street of town and began advancing. The train then came barreling through town, and apparently the conductor was drunk, as he went launching off the tracks and into the ravine on the outside of town. Must've been Amtrak. The sight of advancing EllerDrachen horde caused a panic within the town as a horrible accident occurred. A customer at Pizza Hut was waiting to pull onto the road as the EllerDrachen Dragoon came up behind it. The driver panicked and took off into the street, running into another car already there and taking out a pedestrian on a bicyle in the process.
