The EM-1 Kobold Heavy Assault Mecha was built by EllerDrachen Spaceworks to meet a military need for a heavy duty, high performance mecha, capable of taking on whole squadrons of troopers with minimal effort. Powered by an encapsulated Antimatter Fusion Drive, it can operate without refueling for months. Built in food and waste processors take care of any needs of the pilot, and the energy weapons are powered by the Fusion Drive. Even the missiles can be built while in the field, given enough time and raw materials. A Robotic Brain allows the mecha to operate semiautonomously, if the pilot is incapacitated or killed.
The mecha has four powerful jumpjets which enable it to leap great distances and, if given sufficient lift with the arm-mounted shields, to fly for short distances as well.
