Life In The Brick, my online Lego Comic Strip

A chronicle of the transformation of my dark, dingy old basement into the new Brickfrenzy Design

Winter in our old apartment was cold, because
of particularly bad insulation. Thus, we had to seal them up with that plastic
weathersealing stuff. Highly qualified LEGO citizens were selected for this
dangerous experiment, known as Bioledge. They were sealed in with a variety of
flora and fauna to see how they survive isolation for 4 months. I'm happy to
report they all survived.

What happens when a bunch of skeletons decide to re-enact a scene from a Rockettes
Production? That's the question that everyone asks me. So here's the answer.

Here's a group of trailers built for the California Truck.
From left to right they are: A boxcar, a flatbed with backhoe, a log transport, a propane tanker,
a car carrier, and finally the truck.

This image, along with the next three, are a bit of a blast from the past. Digging through
some old boxes while getting rid of stuff for a garage sale, I came across these pictures
of some creations I made back when I was in junior high in 1988. The first is the Calico
Test Car. It is an 8865 with
a multicolored body put on it

This version of the full-body Test Car
was done in solid red. It looks much better this way, I think.

This is a Top-Fuel dragster done in Blacktron colors. My apologies to the lousy picture
quality.

Here are a pair of random-scaled stock cars. The blue one is modeled after an 80's era
Pontiac Trans Am, and the black one is the second entrant from BlackTron racing. |
