T-88 Gravedigger
08/10/1999

Jointly designed by Incom Corporation and Koensayr, the T-88 Gravedigger was built to replace the aging Y-Wing fleet following the defeat of the Emperor at the Battle of Endor. Design concepts from the Y-Wing and X-Wing were combined to create this spectacular fighting machine. The Gravedigger is a multipurpose assault bomber/fighter used in heavy ground attacks, as well as strafing and bombing runs on space stations, capital ships and orbital platforms. It carries a crew of 2, the pilot in the rear seat and the gunner/bombadier in the front seat. The weaponry on this ship is quite significant. It is armed with 4 laser cannons, mounted two on a side on either side of the bombadier, and two blaster cannons mounted on the wingtips. There are a pair of photon torpedo launchers in the nose, each of which has a magazine of 4 torpedoes. The bomb bays can house multiple weapons, including proton bombs, concussion bombs, mines, or incindiary devices. This truly versatile craft is equipped with sensor arrays on either side of the main cockpit and a shield generator directly behind the pilot. The many fins are designed to protect the engines during combat, as well as to provide control surfaces during atmospheric flight.

The T-88 Gravedigger was constructed entirely from the parts of three Star Wars sets, 7130 Snowspeeder, 7140 X-Wing Fighter, and 7151 Sith Infiltrator. It is part of a series of craft inspired by the Star Wars Universe, and built entirely with parts from the Star Wars sets. This ship does not exist in the Star Wars universe. It and its history are entirely of my own creation.
