Iron Mecha

So, on Lugnet, a challenge went out from Mark Neumann to reproduce a mech design of his selection. I figured what I really need to get my creative juices flowing was a contest, so I decided to enter it.

But, of course, nothing is really what it seems when Brickfrenzy gets involved. Everybody was going to build mecha. That’s not that exciting.

So mine transforms.

Some notes on the legs. Yes, those are tires inside the feet. That, coupled with the placement of the dark grey armor panels at the hip joint to reinforce keep this mech standing in bot mode. It does not have landing gear in jet mode. It would just transform to land.
