Jetson’s Tower

This rendition of the Jetson’s home from the cartoon of the same name is 5 feet 5 inches tall (206 bricks) and is about 30 inches in diameter at the top. The top of the structure balances quite satisfactorily on the two legs, which are a pretty solid technic construction.

Each of the 5 floors is larger than the one below to get the tapered shape. They go from 124 1×2 bricks in diameter to 148 bricks in diameter at the top. The circular part at the base is 92 bricks in diameter.

All told, it took about 3 weeks of intensive building to get this done in time for Brickfair. It was quite popular, and took home best Moonbase module at the show.
